This month’s feature in the “Our People” segment recognizes one of our special team members, Robbie Bell. To say that Robbie is a colorful individual is somewhat of an understatement. His fun-loving personality, delightful South Carolina accent, and grasp of the famous Southern hospitality make being around Robbie an enjoyable experience.
As a retired Major of the Burke County Sheriff’s Department, Robbie has led a life of service in his community, including his current role as a volunteer firefighter and champion for local charities.
On retirement from the police department, Robbie jumped at the chance to work at The Augusta National Golf Club on their security detail and could be seen escorting the Masters Champion off the 18th green to the famous Butler Cabin, the closest he would come to a green jacket!
