England Golf Trip 2004

In 2004, West Bend Mutual Insurance president and CEO Rocky Dedrick invited us to craft a unique golf experience in England for their top-performing agents. Unlike the typical itineraries in Scotland or Ireland, this trip aimed to surprise with England’s rich golfing traditions and scenic courses.
The journey started in London, leading us to Norfolk’s lush landscapes. Guests enjoyed their stay at charming inns like The White Horse in Brancaster and the Red Lion in Lincoln, setting the stage for what was to come.
Memorable Moments
We played rounds at Hunstanton and Brancaster, two stunning courses bursting with color and tradition. Adding a unique touch, West Bend sponsored a horse race at Fakenham Racecourse, naming the final race “The Rocky Dedrick Celebration Novices’ Hurdle.” The victorious Irish horse, Fantastic Champion, fittingly secured the win.
The adventure continued to Lincolnshire, featuring a game at Woodhall Spa, ranked #57 globally. The finale at The Belfry included a special dinner with the Secretary of the British PGA, complete with the iconic Ryder Cup trophy—a truly extraordinary highlight.
Lasting Memories

Reflecting on this trip, the GibsonEXP team cherishes the bonds formed and the remarkable experiences shared. It exemplifies our commitment to creating unforgettable journeys, steeped in tradition and innovation. Our heartfelt thanks to West Bend Mutual and their incredible team for entrusting us with this adventure.
A most memorable experience. Delivered.
